These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Five Elements Wellness Spa website at fiveelementsaiken.com and your receipt of services at our location at 119 Beatty Lane, Aiken, SC 29803. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Five Elements Wellness Spa offers esthetic services including facials, exfoliation treatments, brow and lash services, waxing, nail services, and skincare education. All services are performed by licensed estheticians operating within the scope of their South Carolina license.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, including when a requested service is contraindicated for a client's health condition, when a client has misrepresented health information, or when a client's conduct is disrespectful to our staff or other guests.
2. Appointments and Booking
Appointments are booked through our Vagaro booking platform. A valid credit or debit card is required to hold all appointments. Your card is not charged at the time of booking unless you choose to prepay.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your service to avoid impacting other clients. You will still be responsible for the full service fee if the lateness is not our fault.
3. Health Intake and Medical Disclosures
You agree to accurately and completely disclose relevant health information in your intake form prior to services, including medications (particularly retinoids, isotretinoin/Accutane, and blood thinners), skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, and recent cosmetic procedures or surgeries.
Providing false or incomplete health information that results in a service being performed that should have been contraindicated releases Five Elements Wellness Spa from any resulting liability. Our estheticians rely on your disclosed information to provide safe services.
We are not medical providers. Nothing we tell you constitutes medical advice. If you have a medical condition affecting your skin or health, consult your physician before receiving services.
4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, or failure to attend a booked appointment without notice, will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled service fee. See our full Cancellation Policy for complete terms.
5. Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit and debit cards. Gratuity is always optional and never added automatically. Returned checks will incur a returned check fee of $35 plus any applicable bank fees.
6. Satisfaction and Service Concerns
If you are not satisfied with your service, please tell us before you leave or contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. We are committed to addressing legitimate concerns and, where appropriate, offering a correction service. We do not issue refunds for completed services, but we take every concern seriously and will work to make it right.
Product returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase if the product is at least 75% unused and in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns on opened consumables for health reasons.

The content on fiveelementsaiken.com — including text, images, service descriptions, and educational content — is owned by Five Elements Wellness Spa and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without written permission.

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites linked from our site, including Vagaro, Facebook, or Instagram.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Five Elements Wellness Spa's liability for any claim arising from services or website use is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Reactions to professional products and services can occur in individuals with undisclosed or undetected sensitivities. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee that all clients will be free from any reaction.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Aiken County, South Carolina.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
